Outdoor Illuminations is a privately owned architectural landscape lighting and design company. We specialize in custom lighting designs for homes and businesses.

All systems are custom designed by Your Light Guy, Scott Hoptry. He prides himself on being present at every job site to ensure proper installation and complete customer satisfaction.

Your Light Guy, Scott Hoptry, was born and raised in the Midwest. Upon finishing studies at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana in Natural Resources/Outdoor Recreation, Scott enrolled and graduated with Honors with a degree in Golf Course Operations from Lake City community college, Lake City, Florida. A 20+ year career in the Golf Course Construction Business working with world-renowned golf course architects gave him significant insight of identifying important design features of the Landscape.

In 2001, Scott founded Jasco Greens Inc d.b.a. Outdoor Illuminations consisting of a Golf Division and Landscape Division. Searching to enhance safety and security while extending the enjoyment of his client's beautifully landscaped homes, he discovered the importance and value of architectural and landscape lighting. He soon realized that Outdoor lighting is an important, often overlooked, feature in the landscape. Since then, he has concentrated in building distinctive golf courses and creating unique outdoor lighting.

Scott is member of the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals and Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. He attends numerous seminars and conferences throughout the year to keep abreast on new products, regulatory concerns and trade related issues.

I personally perform all Design Consultations, I’m present on every job site and I supervise the entire installation to ensure your satisfaction. I am Your Light Guy!
